Patient Advocate

The Hospital Patient Advocate is responsible to report and/or investigate allegations of patient rights violations. This includes issues regarding phone calls, mail, visitors, medication and any other concern a patient may have.

The Patient Advocate is available to meet with patients to discuss their concerns. If the issue warrants, the Patient Advocate will refer the patient to a legal provider or take their concerns to appropriate staff for resolution. The Patient Advocate also provides staff members with training relative to patient rights.
