Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy Occupational therapy treatment is focused toward maintaining and improving skills in personal management of activities of daily living and community living is the focus of treatment. Purposeful activities are utilized to give meaning to every day routines. The activities may address areas of need in regards to reality orientation, cognition, work, and social skills. A sampling of the skills would be the ability to work cooperatively with others, attention to task, ability to complete routine daily tasks, ability to take responsibility for own living area, personal hygiene and grooming, and work duties.
